This is a piece of work that was commissioned by the Brayford Trust, the City of Lincoln Council and the University of Lincoln to look at possible development around the area of the Brayford Waterfront, assuming a blank canvas.
The work was carried out by the architecture departments of the Universities of Lincoln and Nottingham and culminated in an exhibition at Lincoln University in Autumn 2009, which was presented to all the stakeholders for the area.
These exciting proposals are being used as part of the CCMP process to inform the ongoing development of the Brayford Waterfront and the University.

How encouraging that the development of these areas will continue to progress in a controlled way and hopefully imaginative way.
Notwithstanding the ‘feet firmly in the mud’ attitude which some residents have, the process so far has been most successfull. Congratulations to all involved.
As an aside, perhaps the Brayford Trust would give its current building on the Wharf a simple lick of paint before embarking on further ambitious schemes. At present it is an outstanding eyesore.
